Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer position acts as an interface between external suppliers an dour global internal development team with a focus on all electrical design aspects of our medical devices. This also includes manufacturing support of current and future medical devices including internal testing and agency testing.
Responsibilities
1. Liason between external suppliers and our global internal development groups on projects for various current and future Medical Devices.
2. Actively support and participate in the global design team while remaining within the time and cost constraints of the projects.
3. Help define, develop, and document requirements, specifications, and test plans for electrical design aspects of our Medical Devices.
4. Provide day to day coordination of current and future production of our Medical Devices with various off-site suppliers and manufacturing locations, including risk review and design signoff of proposed changes.
5. Oversee agency testing for Medical Devices including Electrical Safety Testing, EMI and immunity
6. Follow the Bosch Medical Design Control process. Perform other incidental and related duties as assigned and needed.
Knowledge and Skills
1. Minimum of 5 years experience in electronic design of computer or networking equipment, including a form of wireless communication, with medical industry experience preferred.
2. Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to an off-site team in various locations.
3. Electronics design knowledge in wireless, networking, embedded systems and circuits.
Education
BS in Electrical Engineering required. Masters in EE preferred.
