Summary:
Responsible for developing system requirements for the Health Buddy embedded platform. Analyze requirements and determine system specifications, architecture/interface descriptions, input/out processes and parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates system risk assessment. Develops system risk mitigations and verifies them for implementation and effectiveness. Coordinates design of sub-systems and integration of total system.
Works on problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgement within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Responsibilities:
1. System requirement and design specifications and verification plans and reports
2. Provide work direction to develop team. Ensure that tasks are completed within established timeline and within budget.
3. Identify, assess, and mitigate system risks.
4. Lead system integration.
5. Analyze system problems to determine root cause. Develop and implement corrective actions.
6. Manage change control requests
Knowledge and Skills:
1. 10+ years embedded engineering experience - Preferably on Linux systems
2. Excellent coordination, organization, problem soflving, teaming and communication abilities
3. Experience with product development cycle in FDA 21 CFR 820 Quality Systeem Regulation (QSR)13485. Structured thiking
Education:
BS/MS EE or equivalent
